Great playground for kids. Restaurant is fine and service is excellent. It's an excellent hotel for families. The bed pillows are bulky and hard.
This hotel was amazing the views of nature and the food at Villa Monarca Inn were simply incredible. The nearby towns and easy access to transportation were a big plus too, especially since it only took us about 10–20 minutes to get to downtown Zitácuaro, and we could even walk to a nearby village.
The food was excellent and the staff was super nice. My daughter had her wedding there and it was Absolutely beautiful! The venue was gorgeous and the DJ had lights, fog machines, bubbles, lasers and there was a live preference that was so great, we had a fantastic time there. Everything was beautiful, the only bad thing was that the toilets clog easily.
Un lugar hermoso para descansar con la familia, hay jardines, alberca y la comida del restaurante es deliciosa!!! La atención es buenísima. Todo el staff son atentos y serviciales. Soy de l CDMX y o único que hace que no le dé las 5 estrellas es la ubicación. Por desgracia la carretera para llegar no está en optimas condiciones pero llegando ahí te olvidas!!! Hermoso. Gracias
Excellent stay in mid Jan 2018. Friendly staff, beautiful,grounds and views, and cozy cottages! Would definitely stay again and recommend. Relatively close to the monarchs. Also close to pyramids at San Felipe (must see while you are there)!
